Finding Less Competitive Website Niches

How do I chose the best website niche with less competitors? Or, how do I figure out what ppl like to visit?

I was about to make a web hosting guide website , I searched in google and shocked with the fact that there is tons of similar sites that features the same niche service with no single new idea to implement .. also , how can I know what attracting ppl in the current time … Thanks

The web hosting niche is extremely competitive because it’s extremely lucrative. You have to do some of keyword analysis to find the less competitive niches. I use Micro Niche Finder to find those keywords.

To find out what’s attracting people, you have to watch the trends. You can use Google Trends, but trends don’t hand around for long, so website content becomes old very fast.

The best thing is to find out what people have problems with and then offer them a solution to the problem. You can do that by reading forum. For example, and this has been beat to death a thousand times over, potty training a puppy. You can google “dog training” forum or “puppy potty training” forum. Just put your keyword phrase in quotes and add the word forum to the end. Read through the posts and make a list of the problems that people want help with.
