You may have heard stories of how some webmasters make a living from their Google Adsense or affiliate income. They insert some HTML code into their web pages that hopefully will display ads relative to their content. When visitors click on the ads, the webmaster earns money for the click. This could be anywhere from single digit cents to several dollars. It all depends upon how competitive and costly the keyword bidding gets for the advertisers.

Keywords with little competition require different tactics than keywords with high competition. If you want to get the best possible results for your website, you must use the right keywords. Optimize the wrong ones and you will never see results. But be forewarned, making money with Adsense is not a project for quitters. You need the right tools and you must be able to follow instructions. If you think you have what it takes, then keep reading.

Never Quit

You can’t be a quitter because it doesn’t happen over night. I will say this right up front, there will be times where you’ll spend time researching and doing everything right, only to find out that a particular niche isn’t as profitable as you had hoped for. Why are the results between google keyword tool and word tracker(free version) so different? When I search on ”Business loans” in Word tracker, it has only 161 counts over 160 days, but the word in Google keyword tool has 550,000 counts in one month.

I have a very niche category with low competition. My website is optimized with over 250 pages, good keyword density, optimized title and description tags, etc. How long will it take my website to reach the top 10 listing on yahoo or google?

Answer:

Don’t know about Yahoo. Yahoo’s weird. But here’s how to tell how long it will take for your website to appear in the top 10 search results on Google.

Answer:

There is no such keyword tool, that I am aware of, that displays how many searches are being done per day for a search term. Google’s keyword tool displays monthly searches. You can divided that by the number of days in a month to get a rough estimate.

I have a list of 100 keywords in Google Adwords. I want to know if there is a program that I can use that will tell me what page in Google each of those 100 appears (or does not appear). So for example if I have keywords: dog, dog collar, and dog food, I want to know what pages in google they appear: ie pages 3, 15, and 99.

That’s an impossible task because unless a keyword just plain don’t exist at all, it will be on all pages in your google search results.

Example: go google the exact match for ”dog food”. Now look at the SERPS. 37,100,000 results, hence “all pages” that were returned by your query contain your phrase.

I’ve been reading stories about people who came up with stupid website ideas and made millions, like the million dollar homepage. What are some other ideas i could do?

Answer:

The reason why that million dollar web page worked is because it was something unique and it went viral.

With the recent changes to the Google Ad Words keyword tool, what is the best method to use the tool to find the proper keywords that will provide quality website traffic?

Answer:

You can look up keywords in the Google AdWords keyword tool to see roughly how many searches a month those keywords are getting and roughly how much competition there is for bidding on those keywords and aproximately how much advertisers are paying to big on keywords. However, keywords, by themselves, do not get website traffic.

You have to write optimize content using keywords that people are searching on so your site, actually, web pages, can be found in the SERPS, IF your site is indexed. You can use Google Webmaster Tools to submit a sitemap to do that. If you’re lucky and you can get on the front page in the search results, you can get organic traffic. But keywords don’t “send traffic” to your site.

You can use Google AdWords to send PPC traffic to your site. Or you can have other sites like to your site.

Someone has told me of some to use, but how do you use them?

For example, if you have several words in your title, does the whole entire exact phrase have to be used, or if just a couple of the words appear in your title, is that okay?

Your title has nothing to do with using a keyword search tool. You can use Google’s keyword tool to search for keywords. Just do a search on “google keyword tool”. The purpose of the tool is to find out how popular your keyword phrase is. How many searches are begin performed and a few other stats.

If you want to optimize your page for your keyword phrase, then your title should include your keyword phrase.

I want to buy a tool that tells me exactly… what people are looking for, how many searches there are, and how many results there are. Also i would like soething that allows me to dig down and find small niches…

I’m trying to make a solid amount of revenue from the online market. I can create a well put together website and I can make it look professional I have all the tools. Except for what kind of site I want to build that will generate a lot of traffic I need your ideas from online marketeer to online marketeer where will I see the success and can you give me examples of sites.

If you already have the skill set for building websites, you’ve already mastered half of it. Personally, I think that’s the easiest part. The hard part is finding good niches. You want to find something that has a decent monthly search volume, but little competition.  The best niches are ones that solve problems because you’ll find people are willing to whip out the credit cards if you can offer them a solution.
